Description of Issue
Microsoft Outlook 2003 keeps asking for a password or generates an error that states it cannot log into your email account.
Resolution
Check the following:
- Make sure your "User Name" is your complete email address.
- Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure you are using the correct case.
- Attempt to log into the SmarterMail Web Interface (at http://mail.ssiwt.com) using your user name and password. If you are successful, you may have your email client configured improperly.
If none of the above solves the problem, you should contact your mail administrator or our support staff to have your password reset.
